Regional Officer 

The Trustees of North East Churches Acting Together are delighted to announce the appointment of Coryn Stehouwer as the new Regional Officer for NECAT. Coryn will begin work on 1 January 2024.

Coryn will be working hard to get to know the North East and its churches in early 2024. If you would like to meet Coryn or invite her to an event please email chair@necat.org.uk so that we can help her build up her networking relationships across the region. We ask you for your prayers for Coryn as she takes up her new role.

Coryn Stehouwer has trained in spiritual care and psychotherapy, with experience leading faith-based organizations such as L’Arche and the Halifax Community Chaplaincy Society. Coryn hails from Canada, growing up in Southern Ontario and living in Nova Scotia for the past 5 years. Coryn and her husband have moved to North East with a love for its landscapes and spiritual history. She looks forward to getting to know this unique region and sharing her skills with the ecumenical vision of North East Churches Acting Together.
