Regional Officer 

 Reverend Joanne Thorns is the Regional Officer for North East Churches Acting Together.   

Joanne is an Anglican priest who was previously the Team Vicar of All Saints, Newton Hall an Anglican Methodist Single Congregation Local Ecumenical Partnership in the Diocese of Durham.  She was appointed as the first Regional Officer for NECAT in 2014.

Joanne has lived and worked in the North East all of her life, growing up in Sunderland and living in Stockton and Durham.  She previously worked as a pharmacist, mainly in Sunderland and South Tyneside.
